Design

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”
In my experience as a teaching librarian, design is a crucial determinant of the success of any instructional endeavor. It’s our responsibility to engage learners from the moment we enter the classroom, and good design skills enable us to achieve this goal. Our presentations, worksheets, infographics, LibGuides, and marketing materials all serve to communicate our values and goals to our stakeholders, and it’s up to us to present those elements well.
